Heather Cartright-Tetrault, CDP is the owner and founder of the company. She is an experienced senior living executive, and also a former Assisted Living Facility Administrator. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health Services Administration from Hodges University and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
In the community, Heather is recognized as a senior expert with a desire to serve others. Through community involvement she is fully informed on issues that can confront families such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, social, and financial needs of seniors. Heather is extremely knowledgeable of all local senior living communities and other related services that provide care and services to elders.
As a result of Heather’s personal experience in placing her Mother, Aunt and Uncle in senior communities, she realized the complexity of the circumstances in finding proper placement. She has made it her personal mission to provide personalized consulting services that help eliminate the confusion and worry of finding the right placement for a loved one. Heather devotes as much time as needed to help each family with this complicated and often overwhelming decision.
Shortly after starting the company, Heather’s husband Christopher Tetrault, MSHSA, NHA joined My Care Finders as Director of Operations. He worked for over 15 years as a Nursing Home Administrator, and has been in the healthcare industry for over 23 years. He has worked for many top quality organizations throughout his career, which has given him great experience in leading others to success. Chris strives to follow the "Golden Rule" in his interactions with all those he works with and serves.
Christopher hold's a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from D'Youville College. He maintains his license in Florida as a Nursing Home Administrator. When not busy working, he loves to spend time with Heather and two children Emma and Benjamin.
Brenda Bates, LPN covers Bradenton and Sun City Center markets. She has worked in the Senior Living field for over 20 years in nursing, sales, marketing, and operations. Brenda has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 40 years and has worked in multiple medical fields during her career. They range from ICU/CCU, Physician/Surgeon office, to high-tech Pediatric home health. The past 23 years have been specifically in the Senior Living arena. She has worked with Seniors as a Skilled Nursing Facility Liaison for over 20 years, meeting potential clients in the hospitals (mainly) and working with Physicians, Case Managers, Hospice, and other senior services to help coordinate placement in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Brenda also worked as an Executive Director and in sales/marketing of assisted living facilities. Brenda’s experience helps her understand the rules and regulations that each different levels of care within assisted living operate under. This work and educational history gives Brenda a firm knowledge of all aspects of senior living which allows her to best help families place their loved ones.
Tami Erickson, CDP covers Brandon and Tampa markets. She specializes in navigating seniors and their families though the financial, geographical, and clinical maze of senior housing. She is an advocate for families as they begin to prepare for long-term care options. Tami is an experienced senior living executive who has held multiple leadership roles in organizations that better the lives of seniors and their caregivers including: The Florida Assisted Living Association, Better Living for Seniors, Manatee County Aging Network & Manatee County Senior Advocacy Council.
With nearly three decades of healthcare involvement. Tami’s early, community level experience within sales and operations along with a clinical background has given her an understanding of the overall factors that contribute to the success of a thriving community.
Tami is recognized as an industry expert with a desire to serve others. Tami has served as The Walk Chair for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Manatee and Hillsborough County. Also, Chaired the Caregiver Forum along with the Manatee County Aging Network. Tami has a heart of service and advocacy putting the interest of seniors and their families first.
Tanya Singsime covers the Sarasota area. She has 15 years of experience in healthcare and senior living sales/marketing within Manatee and Sarasota counties. Tanya started her career in Durable Medical Equipment sales and made a transition to senior living where she started in skilled nursing for short term rehab and long term care. As of the last 5 years, Tanya's has been working in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities, dedicating herself to families navigating the senior living process.
Outside of sales, Tanya focuses on supporting low-income seniors in Manatee and Senior counties, providing the needed resources to create a better quality of life. Tanya's expertise and knowledge of the facilities and surrounding resources will provide a peace of mind to families and their loved ones knowing they will be receiving the highest quality of support.
Patty Witt works predominantly in Sarasota County. She is passionate about assisting families in finding the right fit when looking for a senior care community for their loved ones. She has years of experience working in assisted living facilities.
Patty is originally from Buffalo, NY and later moved to Seattle, Washington where she lived for many years with her husband and son. She loves to travel and spend time with her family.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rollins College. As a veteran in the industry, as well as having placed her own family in senior care, Patty's experience will be of great help to you!
